DOES THE PERFECT POSTURE EXIST?

We still often hear this from our clients in practice: “I think it’s because I have bad posture.”
Persistent claims that have existed for generations and that we as physiotherapists may even have created ourselves.

However, science has been concluding for years that the link between posture and physical complaints is much weaker than we always thought. Yet these findings have hardly made their way into our work culture. The idea that sitting in the ‘right posture’ throughout the day is best still dominates in the workplace.
Unfortunately, this way of thinking continues to be fueled by profitable ergonomics companies that ‘perfectly’ adjust your workplace for you.

At FYSIOPLAN, we believe things should be different and strive for a shift in the way people think about sedentary work and health.

From this mission, the workshop “Does the Perfect Posture Exist?” was created. In this 60-minute workshop, you’ll join one of our physiotherapists to dive into the mystery of the so-called “perfect working posture.” Practical tips, tricks, and popular statements about posture and health will be examined along the way.
The goal is that by the end of the workshop, everyone in your company will have science-based knowledge about what really matters when it comes to posture, movement, and health. This contributes to better workplace health and helps minimize absenteeism in the long run.
